Otáčka is a music player built around the spinning record. Tap it to play, drag it to move through a song, and see every album as rings you can jump between.

Say it OH-tahch-kah. It's Czech for one full turn.
This is working. Try it, tap the record. (No sound in the demo.)
How it works
It eases up to speed, then coasts to a stop, like the real thing.
Move through a song by moving the record, or use the fine timer bar.
Every album is a map of its tracks. Tap one to jump straight there.
The groove map
Each track is a band on the record, sized by its length. The one playing lights up in the album's own colour, and it moves inward as the album plays.
The shelf
Browse as a list, a wall of covers or by artist. Sort by what you played last, and search albums, artists and songs at once. Your playlists sit on the shelf too.
Your archive
Keep a note and a rating on any album, all gathered in one place. Then press your own records: pick the songs, name it, and it joins your shelf with its own label.
Found on a rainy Sunday. Track three is the one.
Your note, on the album's page
Why it's different
The whole app is built around records, start to finish.
The label and controls take their colour from each album.
Two calm looks, with very little on screen.
Designed for Apple Music and your own files, side by side.
Nothing interrupts the music, and nothing tries to sell to you mid-song.
One optional purchase, with no subscription.
Leave your email and be one of the first to try it.
Thank you. We'll be in touch.
