Re-LoCAL started with three separate ideas: a plan for the move, a way to read the letters, and the words for the counter. Living in Czechia, we kept needing all three at once. So we made one app.

Who we are

A small team, in Czechia.

Re-LoCAL is made by a small team in Czechia. It is built around real visits to Czech offices, clinics and counters: the permit applications, the Foreign Police queue, the thick envelopes and the pharmacy.

What we believe

Calm beats clever. A move is stressful. The app should lower your heart rate, not raise it.
Honest about what we know. Every step shows when it was last checked. Every letter says how sure it is.
Pay once. You need this most in your first year. No subscription.
Help is free. Emergency and health phrases will never be behind a paywall.
Your papers are yours. Letters stay on your phone.

How we check

Where the information comes from.

An app like this is only as good as its facts. Here is how each part is kept right.

Move: rules and deadlines

Built from the official requirements of the Ministry of the Interior, the Foreign Police and other offices, and from real applications. Every step shows the date it was last checked, and has a "Something out of date?" button that comes straight to us.

Paper Trail: reading letters

Summaries come only from what the letter says. When part of a scan is hard to read, it says so and points at the line to check. Office guides are written and checked by us, not generated.

Say It: the Czech

Written, checked for tone and grammar, and recorded by native Czech speakers, who are paid properly and will agree in writing how their voice is used. Machine translation is only used for the other person's typed replies, and it is always labelled.

Re-LoCAL explains and organises. It is not a lawyer or an immigration adviser, and does not give legal advice. For your right to stay, money you dispute, or anything from a court, check with the office or someone qualified.

Privacy

What happens to your information.

You will put some of the most personal papers you own into this app. Here is exactly what we do with them.

Your plan, papers and notes	Stored on your phone.
Letter photos	Photos stay on your phone and are deleted after the time you choose. To explain a letter, only its text is sent, with ID numbers hidden first, and nothing is stored.
ID numbers in letters	Hidden in your saved letters until you tap to show them.
My card	Stays on your phone only.
Your email on this site	Used once, to tell you when we launch. Nothing else, and never sold.
