Short version: MOTUS doesn't need an account. Your training data stays on your phone. The only thing we collect before launch is your email address, and only so we can tell you when MOTUS is out.
MOTUS is made by Bare Bones Design, a design studio in Prague, Czech Republic. For anything about your data, email hello@barebone.design.
If you join the list, we collect the email address you type in. Nothing else. We don't ask for your name and we don't use it for anything except a launch email.
The form is handled by Netlify, our website host, which stores the submission for us. The page also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google to fetch them.
We use your email address to tell you when MOTUS launches. We do this because you asked us to by submitting the form, which is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Until we have sent the launch email, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. We don't sell your email address or share it with anyone to market to you.
MOTUS has no account and no sign-in. Your workouts, streaks, records and settings are stored on your phone. We don't receive them. Backups are made by you and kept where you choose to put them.
You can ask us to show you the email address we hold, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to us using it. Email us and we'll sort it. If you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to the Czech data protection authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).
If this changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
