A journal that asks the right questions.

Journ.Me is a calm, private space to write. When you're done, a gentle companion asks one or two thoughtful questions to help you see your own thoughts more clearly. Questions, never advice.

How it works

Three quiet minutes a day.

No blank-page dread, no performance. Just a place to put things down, and a nudge to look at them properly.

1

Check in and write

Tap how you're feeling, then write as much or as little as you like. Stuck? Ask for a nudge and get a prompt that fits your day.

2

Reflect, gently

Your companion reads what you wrote and offers one or two Socratic questions. Answer them, skip them, or save them for later.

3

Notice your patterns

Over weeks, see your moods, the topics you keep returning to, and the small wins you'd otherwise forget.

The companion

It doesn't chat.
It asks.

Most AI wants to give you answers. Ours is built to hand the thinking back to you, the way a good friend or a good teacher would.

  • Questions, never advice. It won't tell you what to do or how to feel.
  • Pick its tone. Supportive, curious, direct or a little playful.
  • Hears the echoes. Notices when today sounds like a past entry, and asks what helped then.
  • Knows when to stop. One or two questions, then it leaves you be.
  • Honest about what it is. A thinking tool, not therapy.

The presentation went fine, everyone said so. But all I can hear is the pause before I answered the budget question.
A question

When you replay that moment, whose voice is doing the judging?

Honestly? My old manager's. Not even mine.

Questions

Good questions.

When is Journ.Me coming out?+

We're in the final stretch of building it. Pop your email in and we'll send one message on launch day. That's the only email you'll get from us.

Is the companion a therapist?+

No, and it will never pretend to be. It's a thinking tool that asks questions to help you reflect. If you're going through something serious, please talk to someone you trust or a professional support line.

Do I have to use the AI?+

Not at all. Journ.Me works beautifully as a plain journal. The companion only appears if you ask it to, and you can switch it off completely.

Will it be on Android?+

iPhone comes first. Android is on the list. Sign up and let us know you want it, it genuinely helps us decide.

What if I'm going through something serious?+

Please reach out to a person. If an entry shows signs of real distress, your companion stops asking questions and points you to helplines instead, and support is always one tap away in Settings.

Is there a dark mode?+

Yes. Light, dark, or follow your phone. Lovely for late-night writing.

Can I write without the internet?+

Yes. Entries save on your phone and sync when you're back online. Your companion's questions arrive once you reconnect.
